Rear cenre console
Hi. Anyone can advice on how to convert the rear centre console to the one like in the 5 seater type ? I just bought a used 2010 535 Gt from a local dealer, white with black interior.,4 seater. I have 2 kids,4 seater suit me fine but surely this will upset my mom in law !

The parts are likely expensive, being that it's a BMW. You will find that that center seat is only going to be comfortable for a small person, and even then, probably not for a really long distance unless they're in a car seat.

I would have preferred the 4 seat option but I also got mine used and it didn't have that option.

Thanks a lot for the advice. I think I will get those carseat maker to customise this,..not that costly I think. As for the wheels, for a 20" rims, what is the best size to use ? Now is 235/50..a bit high, isnt it ?
I hate using an RFT but to use normal type there is no space for the spare tyres..or is there any way you can somehow modify the boot ? Other than this two things this car is perfect,at least a better choice
compared to F10

If you were to take up the floor in rear of the GT, you'd find that there's a humongous battery stuffed down there. If it weren't for that, you could probably cobble something up to hold a spare tire.

Regardless of the wheel/tire combination you choose, the requirement is the overall outer diameter must remain within very narrow limits or you will be changing the gearing, speedometer, and odometer. Then, the wheel offset and widths come into play to ensure it will clear the brakes, calipers, and wheel housings. The user's manual lists all of the possible tire/wheel sizes recommended to fit the vehicle.
