X5 2002 No sound on TV/AV input
 

Hi, I am wondering if anyone has had this problem or could possibly help me. I have a 2002 X5 with TV although now everything being digital has no signal, So i decided to connect my ipod into the AV input on center console. Then when i choose AV In TV mode i got the picture through but no sound? When i bought the car last year the TV worked (Pre Digital days) But never had sound working. everything else is fine! I have sat nav audio, radio, even an ipod cable that runs from the cd changer works. But no sound with TV. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance! Justin:dunno:

I have been do a bit of poking around and Reading from the web and I think what has happened is when the previous owner had a bluetooth parrot fitted they used the TV audio input for the parrot/mobile phone audio out. I will confirm/or not, When it's stops snowing and i can pull the boot apart to find out. Im hoping it's not the amp like you say... But out of interest How much was a replacement amp?
