1987 528e oxygen sensor, and suspension???'s

I ve been trying to get info on a few things that I want to work on. 1 is the oxygen sensor. I need to replace it, but based on the diagrams of it its connected to the rear exhust area of my car and im wodering if I can do it myself, or are there special tools needed to do it. If not and its possible, what are common problems that people run into in the process of replacing it. 2 is my suspension. im looking at suspension kits, but Im contemplating at some poing soon dropping a higher performance 5 series engine in it. That Being the case Im contemplating going with a sports suspension kit. If its possible I'm wondering which kits would go best with my car. Any I deas???

The oxygen sensor is a pretty easy replacement, but getting the old one out can be very difficult. The years of heat and rust cause the threads to become frozen. They make special sockets that have a slot for the wires, (which most auto parts stores will rent) but I usually just break off the wire connector part of the old one and wrench on it or bang on it (or a combo or the both) until I get it loose. After that it's just screwing in the new one and plugging in the connector.

I can't really recommend anything other than good quality stock replacement parts, except for maybe Bilstein struts and inserts. You may want to go to www.mye28.com and read what they have to say there.
