What kind of mufflers are these modified from?

wifeofkcustom 03-21-2013 06:49 PM

They are going to look and sound awesome..... :)

40 Series delta flow, 13 x 9.75 x 4 with 3 inch inlet and dual 2.5 inch outlets...... inlet angle changed to 45 degrees while reducing stage one chamber 33 percent. Estimated flow rate increase of 10% over stock. :)

Dude, your WIFE is on the forum??? How are you supposed to lie about how much you spend on the car with her here? You've broken the man-code:tsk:

BTW, hi "Sweetie". That happens to be my pet name for my wife also.

I should also point out that my last boat had twin 500 hp, 502 cubic inch engines with four inch "dry" exhaust. My wife loved them!

Lol:rofl: I'm not on here.....this is where I find my husband when he is traveling

Delta flow as in Flowmasters?! I never heard of these on BMWs...I'm curious to see/hear hear the results!!!

Was thinking the exact same thing. So can you get Flowmasters for a 535i as well? Very curious as to the sound on any BMW.

They're both dual exhaust (535 and 550), so I would imagine so. I've just never heard of this American brand being popular on BMWs. I'm curious as to the actual gains and sound. We'll see!

Thanks, it provides for a lot of seclusion and if it wasn't for the fact it comes to an abrupt end at my house, it would be really fun to keep on the throttle all of the way up. ;)

Kcustom 03-23-2013 02:16 PM

On and done... huge improvement.... droans a little at 1500 rpm but good at idle. 1900 to 2200 (crusing rpm) is fine. A little louder but that is what I was lookinf for. Full throttle is amazing......
