Cigarette lighters not working
These stopped working on my 2006 X5. Any suggestions? Is there a fuse somewhere?thanks
Yes, there are fuses...I'm not sure of which number the fuse is...but there should be a fuse index in both locations that list the fuses alphabetically, plus lists its numbered position within the fuse box, and it also lists the fuse's amperage...along with a diagram of the fuse box which shows where each number is located. And you may be lucky and still have spare fuses & the fuse/relay puller in the glove box area (if a previous owner hasn't used them or used them and replaced them). :)
If when you pull down the right rear compartment door and you see a subwoofer, you must remove that, and the fuses/relays will be behind the subwoofer.
(from owners manual)
(when you lower the lid of the fuses in the glove box...you should see a fuse index that looks like the one below)
(rear fuses in cargo area ...see Fuse 83)
