It came in late afternoon. My sales guy is off Tues. I'm tied up Weds. I just cancelled my Thurs plans to take delivery. Time just stopped...the clock is ticking slowly. Is it Thurs yet?
Hey...nice AVA....looks familiar.

WHITEX 06-27-2013 05:48 PM

OK...touchdown. Picked up today. Wish me luck trying to figure the wheel out. I'm gonna need it.

mugsy 06-27-2013 06:01 PM

Congrats! Sounds like there were no issues that you noticed during inspection, which is always a good thing. Have fun playing! :drive:

Thanks M. Step one. I figured out the Google Map send to car......that's big where I come from.
The rest of the stuff??? I'm in deep you know for now.
I did purchase the tire/wheel protection.

da

I'm wondering what there will be to look forward to after our new arrival (Saturday) and the honeymoon period to follow?
We debated the tire/wheel protection but things were pretty stretched, as it is. Instead, I went out a bought a floor magnet to periodically sweep our gravel driveway for nails, which always seem to plague me. I probably regret not getting it but hopefully not!

Congrats on your new X. It certainly is an interesting ride. I decided to go with the plan. If a nail gets into the tire the tire has to be replaced....not plugged or patched. I have 2 floor magnets by way of Harbor Freight. Good tool to have .

Thanks.....was not sure about the Chestnut with Alpine. It looks real nice.

Tip 1: To make the right mirror move downward automatically so you can see the curb when you back up, the mirror adjusting button has to be in the left side position. Otherwise the function is off.

Tip 2: If you push the interior light button (while the light is on) for more than 3 seconds, it will shut off and stay off even when you open the door.

:)

Lotta little things to remember. How about....hit the Bright head light stalk after the power is turned off to keep the headlamps on for 40 seconds.

Or you can set the pathway light option for 40 seconds and it will do it for you automatically. Congrats on your new ride.

Didn't have chance to get good shots but I will. This is it for now. I'm enjoying the color combo. I ordered it sight unseen.

The X Men 06-28-2013 12:35 PM

For some reason, Chestnut always look so red in pictures.

KrisNL 06-28-2013 12:50 PM

Red seats??

The X Men 06-28-2013 01:03 PM

They look much better in real life, it more of a brownish orange color in real life, but I still think the Mojave is a better color if one wants a brown interior.

I think it looks great. They had a 328 in this color combo when we picked up ours. As I said before, Chestnut was a close second choice.

That new vehicle interior smell. It should be bottled.
