AC working but heat won't shut off on passenger side

I would guess that there is a valve somewhere that controls the flow off coolant to a little radiator that supplies heat to the passenger side and that the valve is not operating correctly. So much for my guess, What should I check first? Where is it? What does it look like?

I have the same problem and I see no one with a solution. The majority of All of the threads are questions and no answers. Why is this and they are years old. Why.

Ac unit not blowing cool air on passenger side

Here is the solution to your ac problem with the passenger side not working. The AC unit has a default switch when the Freon level is low. This default switch will provide cool air to the drivers side and push hot air to the passenger side. This way when the Freon is low the driver will not be hit with hot air blowing in their face which will cause them to pass out.
I added Freon and everything works great now. Please ensure you use the lower connection which is also identified as the fatter line when inputting the Freon. Hope this helps.

Thanks for posting your resolution...as you indicated, many times... members for some reason don't post back with their outcome. Those that do...is what makes these forums great resources for owners...the forum is only as good as the collective...so again, thanks for adding back some value. :)
