Traction control light

I may have the nomenclature wrong but it's the arrow with the
Circle around it.
When I hit a big bump or crest a hill fast I sometimes get a quick flash
of the light. Seems to happen when I am getting a little light on the wheels.
Mind you, I am not out there catching air!!!!
Just when I hit a intersection a little fast sometimes I get a light.

Seems like the system is a little too sensitive.
What is the light suppose to come on?

That's just your mommy saying you're mis-behaving...ignore her like usual :) or turn her off, but then you'll have to put-up with the constant blinking

Struts blown out? wheels flopping around..
your traction is probably doing its job..

Its picking up some slippage of the wheel.. or lost of exciter ring single

It means the system was activated. It is normal on occasional times DSC has to be invoked. such as even mildly slick road services and very frequently in snow /ice roads. As suggested you might want to check your tires,it is possible if tire wear is uneven between the four wheels, DSC might be more sensitive.

I have 4 nearlyl new Conti DSW tires.
It's not the rubber, dry roads here in Texas.
New shocks and struts.
The car is in excellent mechanical condition.
