I am looking at a 2011 550iGT with the sports package. Would a car equipped like this have dynamic handling automatically? Don't see it listed on the spec sheet. Thanks all. Anything to be wary of with this particular model?
Post the last 7 digits of the VIN and someone will run the option codes for you.

So no AD/DD or EDC....
(assuming none of these were std in 2011) looks like it has sport package, convenience, cold weather, surround view).
How many miles? Assuming no more than 20-25k and not a CPO, I would think it is worth $40-42k....
You should probably hold out for a ED/DD car....
That one failed CPO. The owner hit something and there were holes in the floor board. Can you all respectfully run another vin. C337540. It is black on black and xdrive 6 cylinder. Asking 40k. CPO. Thanks all. You are very helpful. Has 33k miles.
Just go to : http://bmwvin.com/ - register for free and run as many times as you need.

I think you can do a lot better than a 2010 535 with 33k miles for $39.9k....and while it is not a badly optioned car, it is not particularly well optioned either....HUD, convenience package, sport package, climate seats....most notable absence is dynamic drive suspension and it isn't a 550... ;)
I appreciate the comments and help. I don't have a lot of time to search online and make calls and haggle and that is not what I paid. It has the options and colors I want (I am particular) and I do not want a 550 or xDrive for mileage.
Fair enough.....then enjoy!
If you get that one then we expect to see pictures........ :)

Here's a site you can do it at although not as juicy:
Absolutely. Will post pics when I get it. There were other cars that I was chasing but BMW of Gwinnett was very responsive over the phone and by email. Props to them if it is allowed on the forum. I am in Dallas and I wanted the cooled seats, ivory leather, premium sound, sport package, back up camera and soft close doors and of course Nav. I would have liked dynamic handling but there are very few with that floating around. Most of the very few in this area have the 18 wheels. The dark metallic is about the only grey or black that I like. The reality is that my wife is likely to be driving this car. I have a 2012 F350 Superduty King Ranch SRW 4X4 which I drive. Her GMC Yukon POS is going to give up the ghost any day and we need a back up plan. If she likes this vehicle, I may get another 5 series and dump her Yukon for good. It will be a test to see if she can cart our 3 young boys around in a car-like vehicle.
I was going to get a 2014 loaded because I am an audiophile and I really really really wanted the B&O sound system in the car. But the few there were were pushing $80k. I have a tough time spending that kind of money on a car. Just my nature, though I did spend 3/4 of that on a truck. If someone has the B&O system, I would love to hear comments on how it sounds.
My wife and I just traded her 2010 335 xi in on a 2013 335xi with the M Sport package. It has the upgraded sound system which is Harmom-Kardon in the 3 Series and has 16 speakers like the B&O system. I have a 2011 535xi that came with the Hi-Fi Professional sound system.
After reading your post and while setting up the HK system for my wife's iPod music collection I tried my MP3 player with its music collection in her system. I noticed very little difference between the sound there and mine. As an audiophile (like you) I expected as much. With all the sound controls (treble, bass, equalizer) it is easy to tailor the sound just as you like it and, when alone, I love to crank it up. It is like travelling in a sound studio while riding on a cloud. It is the joy that the GT gives me the most.
In a perfect world, you would have a 2014 GT and a gently-used one side by side so you could compare the music in each sound system. While the HK system is not the B&O system, I would not expect there would be enough difference between it and mine to justify the cost differential between a 2014 GT and an older one with Hi-Fi Professional System.
And finally, I found this post on another BMW forum site that might be helpful:
I have the "HI-FI Pro" option in my 550 and in my soon-to-arrive M5. I think this is the best original factory sound I have had in a BMW.
A HI-FI magazine here in Sweden tested car HIFI a year ago, Audi A8 with B&O, BMW 7 with HIFI Pro and a MB S Class. The best sound was the B&O but
it cost 8 times more than the HIFI Pro system in the BMW, and some of the testers liked the sound in the BMW better than the expensive B&O. So best
sound for the money was the HIFI Pro in the BMW. The MB was not in the same class as the other.
I'm interested in home HIFI and have never heard a B&O that sounds better than other high-end products that always costs at least half the price of the B&O..
I couldn't agree with you more... BMW of Gwinnett is great! I bought my GT from there in March, 2011. I usually don't deal with stealerships because of the haggling, games, and inflated prices. However, this dealership is about moving units (vehicles) and less worried about profit, profit, profit. Of course, there is a mark-up on the vehicle, but it just a lot less when compared to other dealerships.
I called with an offer on my GT, they made a counter-offer of $700 higher and the deal was done. As many already know, after it was said and done, I got my 2010 GT with 3,000 miles (it was a demo driven by one of the managers) with a MSRP window sticker of $92,025 for $51k. I consider it to be a great deal on a super great car, and those are still my sentiments today. No issues what-so-ever.
Good luck, MisterScott!!
What site did you use for that?
