Battery info PLEASE!!! 328i
 

Hi. First post. Sorry to be so stupid, but what type of battery does my 328i require? I am in Brasil and the selection is quite limited, and there is a lot of fraud here. (gas stations selling watered down gas, "original" parts made in Uruguay, etc.etc.). Yesterday, guy in fake BOSCH uniform sold me an AC DELCO 1011 battery. It started the car, but I am wondering now (at 2:40 am) if it will damage my car. Owner's Manual is in Spanish, People all speak Portuguese.. Any thoughts in English greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

They don't have Optima Batteries here in Brasil. Or not at least in Florianopolis. It is a town of some 300,000 people, one hour by air from Sao Paulo. Does anybody know of a goosd site on the web that explains batteries? Thanks again, Paulsobe :cry:

interstate batteries -from what I've been told are the actual mfg of BMW batteries...They make them- BMW puts there name on.
