Help! 325ix Won't start.
Hey guys, thanks in advance for any help that you can give me.
I just bought my first BMW about 3 months ago, and it stopped starting. When I turn the key it hums and clicks three times, but nothing happens. My feeling is that it's something with a sensor or the computer, but here is a rundown of what I've checked or done.
The battery is good.
The car will push start, but won't start back up.
When I turn the key, there isn't any power drain typical of a starter problem. The starter wasn't dragging or anything previous to not starting, it just seems like it isn't getting any power sent to it.
When I push start it, the anti-lock brake light is on. ?
All the fuses are good.
The mass air flow sensor is making a buzzing noise. Normal?
Thanks again, I love my car, and I love it even more when it works. Maybe I should buy a new bike?
Alright, it looks like it was the starter after all. It was just strange that it went out so quickly, and stopped the car when it was driving. It must have shorted out or something. Oh well, good luck guys.
