success

unable to find the correct compressor, my mechanic machined an adapter for, i believe, the discharge hose. apparently, the orifice is smaller than the hose.

so, this compressor is working better...

bought the fan delete kit from bimmerworld. had to hire it done and the cost became inflated because of electrical issues. apparently, these cars have a connection that is miswired. i'd heard of it...
