Ever notice....

That a 6 pack of bottled beer fits perfectly in the driver side tray in the trunk. They stay so secure even with very spirited driving. I almost think BMW thought of this when they designed this...

This is more likely due to a broken wire under the seat. It seems to be a lot more common on coupes since there is a lot of movement with the seat being able to lift up and forward.
