I have a facelift but the radio is from 9/2001 so it doesn't have the aux input. I changed the radio to one from 3/2004 if I recall correctly.

Since you did the valve cover gasket I strongly suggest you replace the cooling sytem, fuel pump/filter and battery (if it' hasn't been replaced in the last five years)....
