I highly recommend the Griots Garage 3" Orbital Buffer with red pads and the liquid glaze/carnauba liquid wax. A little bit goes a long way. Smaller and may take you 5 minutes longer than a 5" pad....

Unfortunately these break all the time. Mine broke 2x. Try going to a Audio-Alarm shop. They can remove it for you for a lot less then the dealer. Good luck.
