The LTWs are aluminum correct? Getting that polished look would just require media blasting them back to the raw metal and then wet sanding a polishing to your desired finish level.

Definitely replace the seals, what's a few dollars extra when you already have the trans out of the car? I did input and output seals when I dropped the trans out of my miata just for good measure.
