My fronts got noisy soon after the time I replaced the rears. I thought I had a worn wheel bearing. It's the fronts. I just got new Goodyear F1 GSD3. Man, what a difference a good tire makes.

:thumbup: You are right. I got my 2001 325i retrosteer and sticky fix by complaining to BMWNA in New Jersey. Others just complained to their dealer. Don't take no for an answer.

Thanks. Seems like it's fair that BMW should pay since in my enthusiasm at delivery I paid $499 for a silly 14K extension to free maintenance ( was 36K).

the light for worn brake pads shows itself? I have 4mm left on the fronts at 29K miles. At what mm does the worn pads light come on. I'd like to get there before 50000 if I'm getting there.

F1Crazy - They come from the factory at 11:30 instead of straight up frequently. It does not mean you need an alignment. If it drives well - no problem.
