As long as you are taking care of the car you should have no problem. One of my friends had a 1983 6 series that he drove to over 800K miles before getting rid of it.

I have used Meyle as well as Centric. Both are good products. What I liked most about Centric is that they do not have a shorter life which is what you would expect from the lower price.

I sold my 2001 x5 in 2010 with 203,000 miles on the clock without any engine issues at all. It was replaced with a 2010 X5 that now has 70,000 miles and my 2003 X5 has 139,000 miles.
