remove door switches plastic trim

Hi, I need to remove the plastic trim that holds the mirror switches.

I think I need to remove the door panel, right? Is it fixed by screws or somewhat glued/fixed? Do I risk to broke some hooks...

2 reasons:

- the rest of the hood is "in line", lowering it will flow "under" the side body parts;

- the headlights are perfectly aligned with the hood and the body side partsm the headlight...

front bumper "height" adjustment

my front bumper has a slight "gap" between the hood, as pics above. maybe to a previos accident or so.
