1) Cold tire pressure
2) Tread wear look even? Sometimes even good-brand tires have a bad factory lot, with bad tread placement on the underlying tire....

Yeah the noise is gone, all I ever needed apparently was to top off the refrigerant (BTW - my fingers keep trying to type "Freon" here, as they are old fingers, but I beat them back every time!).

Boy, did I screw up this weekend!

So, for the last few days I was hearing a "hiss" style noise coming from behind the dashboard when the AC was on. Itr was blowing cold, but the noise was loud. Taking this for a simple low pressure...

So I took my 3er into the dealer for an Inspection 1 (and they incidentally replaced the rear brake parts -- gotta love Full Maintenance) and they gave me a really nice X3 as a loaner for the day.

If you do a search in the forums, you'll se that there's known radio/antenna issues for our model years. If you are under warranty, see what the dealer can do (he replaced my radio unit for free).

Do our cars have "typical" universal joints in the drivetrain? I know on older US RWD cars, worn universal joints can cause a "clunk" when first starting motion.
