I was thinking it might be one of the door micro switches too... just where are they located? Are they near the door latch handle side on the body of the car or where the door hinges are?

My recently acquired '99 328ic has a really wobbly mirror (inside rearview). :( It appears to be where it's mounted to the windshield not on the "ball" but I can't for the life of me...

Sorry for the dumb question but just how do I unplug the ignition switch? Where do I do it? Like I said, with engine off & key out it was still going Gong, Gong, Gong, Gong
