I'm surprised its that much. I had my 20" RF replaced for $500 at Irvine BMW. I'd expect that 19 should be cheaper. But then again, its also time / effort / gas to run around creation to save ~$50...

This was my idea as well ... the BMW dealership will not do this. Just find a local tire shop to do it for you as a stop gap. It's gotta be better than driving on the sidewalls for a month!

Maybe they can tempoarily plug the tire until the new one comes in. I know that this is not recommended but has to be better than driving around on the sidewalls for a month!

why don't you use the central lock button located...

why don't you use the central lock button located in the center dash? Mine was rattling and they replaced the entire assembly. Never tried to manually push it down.

I have the same problem too ... what's even stranger is that with the HUD option, they do not utilize this area for the turn signal indicator!! The lane departure indicator eats up 1/4 of the HUD...

Great that your dealer gave you the extra quart ... luckily, my dealer is only half mile from work so it's quite easy to pop over and have them do it ... its only happened twice in 9.5K miles.
