Just to add to what Tim said, the fob is basically dead/dying so the dealer for a new one is the best option. Overall, if you're having these problems I would be headed back to where you bought it....

I am very surprised it didn't register a fault. I would still suspect the sas. As mentioned above this has been fixed many times with a cleaning of the sensor and connection.

I know the steering angle sensor is a common issue. It would be best to start with having the codes read. Otherwise you're just guessing and throwing parts at it.
