So I finally took my car in to a tranny indy to check out the P0740 (4-zero NOT 4-one) code and unfortunately the Solenoids were all fine. So at this point that cost was $127 (diag,new filter etc)....

Yeah...I've seen all of that. My code is P0740 (torque converter clutch circuit open) not P0741 (Converter lock-up excessive slip). Sounds like I'll just be takin it to one of the transmission shops...
