There are no special tools other than a spark plug wrench. There are several posts on do it yourself changing of the plugs. The coils are attached to the top of the plugs. Figure out your codes...

Yes fuel filter should be changed regularly too. Easy to do. On the rail under the driver side. If you pumped bad gas it would act up almost right away. So 100 mile you should be OK with the fuel....
