Radiator drain plug - just when i thought all was fixed!

Went to drain the radiator today so i could put some antifreeze in it and make sure the coolant was all ok.

Turned the plug, it was dead tight. Went to pull it out and found the o ring was wrecked...

I cant see any evidence of coolant in the oil - the level is actually a little low. If it was mixing with coolant, i would expect it to go up, but it has not...
