I run Eibach 27mm front and M5 oem rear, perfect combination for me... I do not see any reason to buy shorter links unless you go deeper than 50mm (which I would doubt to call it a benefitial...

I would change the roll bars as well, I did this on mine and it is just perfect, car responds to the steering wheel inputs much faster now... Eibach 27mm front/oem M5 rear, no harm to ride comfort at...
