One other thing that helps with the "tinny" sound...

One other thing that helps with the "tinny" sound of a closing trunk is to ensure that the license plate is attached snugly with all 4 screws.

Good to hear. Mine is located behind the trim panel beside the accelerator pedal. Remove one screw, slide the panel forward to remove and there is the Dice unit.

Just be careful. Wife 1.0 can quickly upgrade and/or downgrade, depending on your personal situation, to Wife 2.0 and maybe Wife 3.0. After that your wallet will be so light you won't care any more...
