I agree. Cleaning can be a problem. I try to give them a good clean and polish every 6 months or so. In between, I use Iron X to keep them clean. It really does a good job and is not so labor...

I have just the fronts in my X5. I love them to death. Saved my interior from salty slush when I lived in MN. They are a perfect fit. They attach to the factory hook points and never slide around.

I have no fear of the engine at that mileage. It's the DPF, EGR, and emissions stuff that may start needing attention. Anyway, I guess you could delete the DPF, as some of the 3 series diesel guys...

The car is certainly repairable for about what the previous poster stated. What ever you do, don't sell it for peanuts to a salvage place....
