Oil temp sensor is on the oil filter housing but you are talking about the coolant temp sensor I guess.

It's on the block, driver side, closer to the back right under the intake manifold.

Disconnect the 52 pin connector on the DME that...

Disconnect the 52 pin connector on the DME that goes to all the engine sensors. That way you will know if the issue is before or after that point.

If that doesn't help, disconnect DME completely....
