It's just out of warranty and the owner doesn't want to buy another set of TPMS for the second set of wheels. Currently installed set doesn't have TPMS, they are aftermarket wheels.

Put a bag or something over the hydraulic part until you install the module. Dust will get in even when the car is sitting in the garage..

If there is no DSC/ABS light on the cluster I would suspect tampering with the ABS system. When you break traction the DSC light in the cluster should flash. I doubt both the switch and the cluster...

That's BS. You won't be able do the V8 lower oil pan in few minutes. Draining the oil takes few minutes, you need to remove the bolts, then you need to clean the sealing surfaces, then clean the oil...

It's there to ensure that you get enough cabin heat when idling. It also makes bleeding the cooling system easier. The car will function just fine without it, if the cooling system is in good working...
