I think he is talking about footwell lights, which, as all interior lights, turn off during drive, so there would be no imact on night vision.

In any case, blue does look awful in any application...

Yes, Koni does make red shocks for E46, although they are listed for sedan versions 316i through 330i/d without M-tech and X models. Probably has to do with the fact that sedan has "standard"...
