I've ordered and should be replacing my front wishbones this weekend. Thank you Fudman for the DIY. I'll report back with the results once the new wishbones are fitted. Fingers crossed this fixes it!

Got it. I would definitely suspect either the tie rods or the front straight control arms (wishbones) to be faulty. Might end up replacing both. I'll jack up the car and check this weekend.
