if you are going to stick with the 318 engines...

if you are going to stick with the 318 engines consider converting to the m44 engine (96-98) a bit more torque than the m42 engines. but all the six engines bolt right up with a new wiring harness...

I have the same problem on my convertible, the rattle in my car comes from the hinges in the top and the compartment door for the top squeeks when the top is up too.

ok so for diff fluid use Redline 75w90 and for tranny fluid use Redline MT90 you can find these on the internet for the clutch go with a OEM M3 clutch kit it will be smooth and never slip under abuse...

yeah dude swap a m44, everything should bolt up with a ECU and wiring harness. I wouldnt recommend turboing the 1.6 even if you could find a kit for it.

I'm not sure about the onboard computer or tilt but the M3 rims will certainly fit and the door actuator shouldnt give you to much trouble
