I am in general scared of the BMW dealers...thats why I always request the forum to validate. Gives me a sense of comfort that it would be the right issue to be sorted out and not a wild goose chase.

a. The Position Switch 24107507818 is defective and
b. Needs an ATF top up

Your Angel eye bulb is gone. There is only one bulb for both the halos. Its inexpensive to buy from a dealer. Replace it.

I have had no such luck. Car has remained in the TFSP mode for 2 weeks now. Have not driven it as I have been out of the country. I guess, I will have to take it to the dealer to do a scan.
