Do you have run-flat tires? I thought TPMS was mandatory for them. One of my tires dropped to 20 psi and looked perfectly fine. Driving on run-flats with low psi will ruin them.

The short answer,...

Personally I like Edmunds, but for your purpose I'd run it through Kelly's and any others you can find. Use the one with the highest value to negotiate with.

Sounds like the computer couldn't sense or understand the signal coming from the pressure sensors in your tires. My guess is that it was a one-time bug. If it happens a gain, take it in to the dealer.

That's a good graph, but I think the pink line represents a normal car's speed increasing over time. Pedal position would essentially be a horizontal line (holding the throttle steady). The yellow...

Yes, I think it gets worse over time. There is a procedure to reset the adpative throttle which pretty much cures the tip-in problem, but then it returns after a week or two. If I were a BMW...

The last 7 digits of my VIN includes a letter (C123456) Do I count the C as a 3, or do I ignore it?

Yogi,

If the car does in...

Tip-in varies by brand of gasoline?

This doesn't make a lot of sense to me, but I swear that my tip-in problem is much worse when using BP gasoline, and nearly non-existant when using Shell.

I know BP is not on BMW's approved list,...

If it were my car/building, I'd just go in there on a Saturday afternoon and put something up. I don't know the details of the location, but my guess is it could be done in an hour for $20 or less.
