You do not have bleutooth in a 2004 X5, unless the previous owner (or you) upgraded it. You will need to replace the old TCU (assist module) with the ULF (Bluetooth and Voice Recognition Module)....

Actually this is a navigation computer issue. The Radio is timing out due to the nav computer being dead.

Your best bet is to replace the nav computer with a new one
