Your DME has nothing to do with the Auto Tranny DME, two different DME but they communicate if you have a Auto Tranny..

You can swap a Auto DME into a Manual car without any problem...

Its your transmission, the jerking could be your torque converter is not hooking correctly to the flywheel (YES, auto has flywheel). Check to see if your oil level is low.
