I'd say take the car to BMW indy shop, I paid a good $300 for 3-4 hr inspection on the car to make sure everything is up to snuff.
buy only car with original warranty left, drive it for a 6months...

Next I would take it to ZF or indy shop, ask them to do fluid level check on the trans. Make sure (I can't stress enough), the shops are familiar with ZF...

There could be a problem with the LED bulbs but yes the flickers don't completely cease even after start up, it will blip a few times when engine on, but not often at all.

you can try putting 8200uF/16V cap in parallel
or pay someone to reprogram the LCM not to send test...

the different can't be more than 1%, use the same tires make/model so the wear pretty close to each other.

Go get Osram, so many Philips bulbs out there that are fake. Also if looks matter to you get 2 bulbs, if not one...

I believe both wipers are driven by a single motor, may want to check if anything loose in there. You have to take off that plastic cover like you want to replace cabin...

in any rate, I turn my DRL off on iDrive cause it'll burn the D1S/D2S bulb sooner, not sure how hard to replace that one on E60 it's...

I assume you use BMW xfer case oil and trans fluid here, not exotic 3rd party kind like Royal-purple, Amsoil etc .

My guess is since you have high mileage the old xfer case oil has lost it...
