Temperature sensor reads normal now. Just seems slow to react, I suspect impending failure as has been suggested. I will watch and repair as needed. Thanks for the advice.

Guys, I have checked the temperature twice, turned car on and off each time, since the repair and the sensor seems to be calibrating itself. Sensor temperature has now risen to 44 degrees in garage....

I just replaced my auxiliary cooling fan and had to remove the bumper and disconnect the outside temperature sensor. When I hooked the sensor back up it did not work and the OBC shows -33f.

LED Headlights on a e34, Anyone?

Anyone replace their low beams with LED headlights? I see some advertised but have no idea if they work well. I currently use HID lights I installed about 6 years ago.

Dr. Don's radio repair 95 525i

The stock radio in my 95 BMW 525i died. Believe it was the power supply. As I did not want to replace it with a new flashy radio, I just sent it to Dr. Dons in Huntsville Texas and he restored it...

Have no idea what happened with the gigi. I found that the test-drive cars were pre-production cars so they were less refined than final production cars. Also as test vehicles they have a tough life....

I believe the hoses are drains for the AC. If your heater core is leaking coolant will drain out the same hoses. BTW, I think my heater core leaks some.
