Probably not weak - just leaving it parked too long. Suggest you get a Battery Tender and hook it up if you're going to be gone more than a week!

Battery will last longer and be fully charged on...

I use straight MTL in my '04 zhp with, yes, 6mt. We have temps in the 20s and 30s here every winter and the transmission shifts just fine when cold.

Mike Miller of the CCA also recommends it.

Get a set of snows mounted on wheels from Tire Rack. There are a lot of choices in tires out there but you'd probably want something a little more serious than Blizzak LM22s that I use on my ZHP....
