Good luck on the repair. If not, then salvage title. And if you do end up needing to replace, a beautiful touring just sold recently on bringatrailer. Keep an eye there.

Anyone else notice the E39 show in the "family pictures" from new Infiniti ad? Gets shown twice, along with other BMW models. Funny that the E39 is being portrayed as a classic by another brand.
