I'm on non runflats and have a full sized spare (2008), so I don't have that anxiety. I guess if I went to runflats I'd probably renew my AMA membership.

IF not convinced, then add oil and see the level rise on the dipstick. Just don't overfill. when dipstick is at minimum, you can add at least a full litre to bring it to max.

My understanding is it just adjusts the transmissions shift points, both up and down for a more sporty drive. There is a separate control for the suspension (EDC) in the idrive.

You may be goggling the wrong thing. E65 and E66 refer to the short wheel base(E65) vs long wheel base(E66) or L. You need to look at 745i to 750i changes (or 745Li to 750Li)

Decreasing your pressure will improve traction, but increase chance of high speed blow out. I don't think the risk is worth it, so maybe you have to drive very carefully until the snow season ends.
