I got in my wife's 2007 X3 auto 6 today after not having driven it for a while, and it's making a nasty grumbling noise from what sounds like either the transmission, center or rear end differential....

Does anyone know if the internal bike rack for the X3 will support a time trial / triathlon bike? These are bikes with the aerobars rather than regular road handlebars.

It will help you drive, but IMO, it takes a lot of the fun out of it. I really wish that BMW would offer a sequential gearbox with a clutch for the people who love to shift.
