I seek advice on service & diagnostic tools. How useful & reliable they are? What is the best brand? Can anybody comment, please.

Fuel pump

Does anybody know how for how long the fuel pump last in 318IS? Mine is 10 years old with 220 K on the clock. Is it wise to exchange it for a new one at this stage as a preventive measure?
