Been researching E92s and F30s - test drove a couple of low mileage E92 335i's - harsh ride, a little cramped, I expected an E39 with 300hp ... this isn't going to be easy the E39 has spoiled me.

At 250k with trans problems I'd give up. These cars are great, and would spoil a new driver. You probably could buy another E39 in better shape, and less miles for $6k.

You should be able to do it without removing the panel again. I gently pulled the cable out a bit, hooked it, and then got the cable to line-up with a little twist.

Autozone Washer Pump Review

Just replaced the washer pump in my '97 528 with an Autozone - just stopped working (typical from reading here)

My Brake Story / Solution

Replaced front and rear brake pads - not my first time, but first on a BMW. One of the easiest cars to work on. Getting the guide bolts/pins out are usually difficult, but the dust covers made it...

Rebate on Bosch Brake Pads

FYI - Purchased new pads from Autohaus - Bosch QuietCast™ and rec'd a $15 rebate per pair - so after rebates it's front & rear pads for ~$38 total

BTW - very easy replacement - easier than most...
