I just got a new OEM plastic window installed. Is there anyway to prevent the crease that goes across the middle when it folds down? Would that window protector fix this when its folded down for long...

Are you sure that the grommets aren't still in the holes where pins should go? That's what happened to me. I had to pry out the remaining grommets to get to the pin holes.
