I did a compression check this morning. All cylinders were at 200 except cylinder 4 was 185

I used a snap-on compression test set

No it's residue from dried up antifreeze. Where it had leaked from the old cap. Which is why I replaced it. No creamy oil. No creamy coolant. Haha

Okay the cap is 4 days old. And the hoses aren't leaking. It's either the thermostat, water pump, or hg. But I am unsure how to diagnose which one

IIRC the 4 cyl cars did not have the big belt driven clutch fan. Only the 6 cyl cars did. Now I am unsure whether they had 2 electric fans or not (ac fan and radiator fan)
