I'm driving a loaner. The car has Premium Pkg, NAV, Xenon Lights.

It drives really well. I don't have the weird damping like the 328i loaners. Perhaps it's the extra weight and longer wheel base....

The emissions system can't be removed. It's DPF plus SCR (Urea) . You can block off the EGR and add a catch can or meth. That will take care of any carbon buildup.

I think It's because it IS a 320d. Only gripe with the 328d is the HP. BMW should have brought over the 325d (200+ hp/ 300 + ft-lbs T). I really like the looks of the wagon, but don't need the AWD....

The torque of the diesel is about twice that of your gasser and it comes on early and hard. It's very similar to a V8 engine.

The transmissions along with programming are different as well.
