Hi. Pull the fuse for the windows and see if your battery keeps its charge, if so then that is the place to start looking for a fault.
You can buy a diagnostic setup from Ebay to use with a laptop...

Hi. I would swap the thermostat first then you will know the engine is running at the proper temp. Run the car with the CC on auto and see how things are, might be you need the aircon. re-gassed....
